The A&L exam is 70 questions in two hours, and it is the one NWSA exam that uses scenario questions built around drawings and schematics. This guide teaches the five A&L domains and the RF sweep, fiber and PIM testing that the scenarios lean on.

What is on the A&L written exam
From the NWSA Candidate Handbook (CH REV 10/25): 70 questions, 2 hours, online remote proctoring, $274 per sitting. Prerequisite: An active TTT-2 certification. NWSA sets the passing score through a standard-setting process and does not publish it.

Antenna systems and appurtenances together are 57% of the exam. Grounding is only 9% — so if you have been drilling grounding because it feels fundamental, you are studying one question in eleven. The modules are sized the same way the exam is.
